I am a Music Historian committed to expanding the boundaries of how the history of music, theater, and opera is studied and taught. I believe that music history should be community-based and accessible and that uncovering and reflecting on the past can have a positive impact on the shaping of current and future performance practice. I am an experienced researcher, writer, lecturer, dramaturge, translator, and editor. I currently serve as the Scholar in Residence at Opera Philadelphia.
